 The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) provides:

  • confidential advice and support to patients, families and carers
  • information on the NHS and health related matters
  • confidential assistance in resolving problems and concerns quickly 
  • information about the NHS complaints procedures and how to get in touch with someone who can help 
  • information on how patients, families and carers can get more involved in their own healthcare and in the NHS locally
