The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) provides:
- confidential advice and support to patients, families and carers
- information on the NHS and health related matters
- confidential assistance in resolving problems and concerns quickly
- information about the NHS complaints procedures and how to get in touch with someone who can help
- information on how patients, families and carers can get more involved in their own healthcare and in the NHS locally
